I’m a very picky foodie and I love infrared ovens. I have more than one brand. The NuWave has an advantage in that it actually fits in my dishwasher (I have a one-piece glass oven that does not fit in my dishwasher), and it is adaptable with the extender ring. Those are huge advantages. Also, NuWave offers more accessory products that make things even more convenient. Things I frequently make in the NuWave: any poultry or pork (this makes the oven worth buying…juiciest meat you will ever eat), salmon, homemade croutons, french fries (no oil necessary, and they are crisp like they were fried), crackers, reheat fried chicken (just like fresh, and cooks some of the oil out), reheat pizza (this will blow your mind), even reheated McDonald’s (I’m a foodie, my kids aren’t) burgers and fries and they came out like they were fresh. Words of advice: watch the food until you get accustomed to the oven, stop beef early and allow to sit for several minutes or you may overcook, and finally, if you like salmon, get the fish as close to the heat source as possible and fire it up on the highest setting (preheat if you have time); your salmon will crisp like it does at a restaurant (no oil necessary). It is worth it. I got mine as a gift and didn’t use it for over a year. It has been in daily use since the first time I gave it a try.
Pros: Cooks from frozen, Saves time, Conserves energy, Meals are healthier, Foods tastes better, Doesn’t require pre-heating, Less heat it the kitchen, Clean up is easy, I can take it anywhere!
Convenient for: My home, Small apartments, Dorm rooms, Boats, trucks and RV’s, Vacation home (2nd home), Hotel rooms, Office, Anywhere
